Do not get ripped off at the car rental desk

When you have booked your car at cheap-car-rental.com  everything is included in the price  except fuel. Some people may need items additional to the rental such as child seats, snow tyres and one way rentals and clearly these are extra to the standard rental.

This will not stop the agents at the rental desk wanting you to initial or sign for items you probably do not need. DON'T, unless you really want them, as they can add significantly to the overall cost.

• We strongly recommend you do not accept a car upgrade - if you do you will be charged 'local upgrade' rates and even just a one group upgrade will nearly nearly double the total cost.
  
• As mechanical assistance is included in your rental voucher there is no need to accept roadsafe/roadside+  .   The cover provided is to cover problems caused by you or others such as locking the keys in the car or tow charges if you have an accident. Ask yourself, do you normally have insurance to cover such events? 
  
• We recommend you consider carefully whether you need personal accident insurance cover as it is likely to be part of your travel insurance package.

If you initial acceptance for all these things it will double the cost of your rental, you will get poor value for money and we can not obtain a retrospective refund..
