We arrange car rental in USA and Canada and we will shortly be expanding Central and South America. Our customers are from all around the world.
All administration of car rental bookings is handled by our American office, telephone numbers below, and the hours of this office are 8am - 6pm, New York time, Mondays - Fridays. Our office also monitors emails during office hours and you can expect a quick reply to any emails sent to callcentre@cheap-car-rental.com . Please feel free to contact us at any stage of the booking or if you need to change, cancel, amend or need any clarification of your booking.
We collect payments in US Dollars, Euros and British Pounds charging Visa and Mastercard. We can also charge American Express cards but only in British Pounds. Credit Card transactions are processed by Realex one of only a few companies appointed by the banks and credit card companies, after rigorous checks of their security arrangements, to process cards for internet retailers. It is also Protx that retain any card information given.
Our basic process is, we check the credit card quoted is valid (automatically), we then book the car (automatically USA only) and when the car is confirmed we send out a voucher. After the voucher has been sent out we charge the credit card the amount originally quoted (except American Express which is charged in British Pounds.). Our vouchers show the name, address and telephone number of the car rental location. Many of the locations have a desk in the airport arrivals terminal and renters should use this desk (except at Orlando Sanford airport where Dollar-rent-a-car have a building (Welcome Centre) just outside the passenger terminal entrance. Some airports require you catching a shuttle bus to the car rental location, butr when this is necessary it is shown on the voucher.
The voucher will be accepted by the car rental company for the cost of the the rental booked as shown on the voucher, but the car rental company will require a valid major credit card in the hirers name, which will be charged for petrol, willful damage, driving offences, etc
